Allianz SE and ICUnet.Group jointly receive the “Winner” award at the German Innovation Award 2022
“And the winner is Allianz SE & ICUnet.Group,” was the verdict at the German Innovation Award 2022 awards ceremony in Berlin on 24 May 2022. The prestigious award honours companies for cross-industry products and outstanding innovation achievements that advance the industry through their originality, implementation and effectiveness.
The jury had evaluated around 700 submissions from German and international companies in advance. Allianz SE and ICUnet.Group received the “Winner” award in the category “Excellence in Business to Business: Information Technologies – Functional Software”. The award recognises the high groundbreaking excellence and innovation of Allianz SE and ICUnet.Group, who have jointly created a digital ecosystem GoGlobal/IND (Intelligent New Destination) for the employee group Expatriates. They convinced the jury with innovative software, analysis and consulting solutions to increase employee satisfaction of expatriate employees and to increase the productivity of HR processes.
“We are extremely pleased about the award for our Global Mobility platform GoGlobal. Together with ICUnet.Group, we built a digital ecosystem that revolutionises Allianz’s global mobility approach by simplifying and accelerating our processes. Our thanks go to all the experts at ICUnet.Group and Allianz, because without them such a successful and smooth implementation would not have been possible,” said Stefan Weinhofer, Head of Global Mobility at Allianz SE.
“Together with Allianz, our premium customer, we are very pleased to receive this award from the expert jury. With this award, we have won another important award in our business area. With our digital offering we are leading in the field of Global Mobility in Europe and we understand this award as a professional recognition of our innovative digital ecosystem as well as our more than 20 years of experience in this field. At the same time, the award is a great motivation to further develop and optimise our digital product portfolio through groundbreaking innovations,” adds Dr Fritz Audebert, CEO of ICUnet.Group.
GoGlobal/IND (Intelligent New Destination). The Global Mobility Software – The award-winning digital platform in detail
Employee assignments abroad are stressful, costly and time-consuming. Allianz’s global mobility department was looking for a solution to this pain point. Together with ICUnet.Group, Allianz built an ecosystem of digital platforms centred around an employee portal: GoGlobal. “ICUnet.Group and we worked together to develop this portal and associated ecosystem with a greenfield approach to reshape the entire global assignment experience for both employees and HR,” Allianz’s Stefan Weinhofer tells.
GoGlobal is a web-based relocation management system that accompanies all the different stakeholders and shareholders of an assignment in one ecosystem. On average, 100+ individual processes arise during a relocation, distributed across 80+ internal and external interfaces. GoGlobal reduces this complexity through intelligent, automated workflows in a single ecosystem.
